If you notice you have difficulty seeing clearly, it could be a sign of dry eye disease.

While blurry vision can be attributed to a variety of causes, it is possible that it is due to damage or inflammation on the surface of your eye due to dry eye disease. One hint which could point to this is if your vision improves after blinking, only to become blurry again before the next blink.

Blurred vision at night

If you notice you have difficulty seeing at night, while driving for example, this could be the first sign of blurred vision due to dry eye disease.

Contact your eye doctor

If you are experiencing blurry vision it could be due to dry eye or it could be due to a different medical condition or vision impairment. If you have difficulty seeing clearly or focusing it is best to make an appointment with your eye doctor as he or she will be able to determine the cause and devise a treatment plan.
