If you make a visit to your eye doctor because of dry eye symptoms there are a variety of diagnostic tools he or she may use to either confirm or deny the presence of dry eye disease. The majority of these tests are non-invasive and very quick.

The most common tests include:

  • Tear break up time test
  • Schirmer’s test
  • Lissamine green dye test
